INTERA welcomes Courtney Black, PE, to our Water Resources Division in Boulder, Colorado. As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, she brings valuable water resources planning expertise on projects in Colorado and throughout the US. Her more than 15 years of experience have been focused in complex economic, legal, social, and technical issues surrounding limited water supplies and increasing demands. Her planning experience includes municipal and basin-wide water resources that encompass water availability, conservation, drought, and climate change. Her experience also includes supporting water rights applications and change proceedings, agricultural water demands and consumptive use, historical diversions, physical and legal availability of supplies, and analysis of groundwater pumping impacts on surface water systems. Her skills and expertise have been utilized for stakeholder engagement and coordination and EIS planning documents and wetland design, and for clients in federal, state, and municipal governments as well as for private industry.

INTERA is Pleased to Announce the Promotions of Greg Ruskauff, Will Nichols, and Kevin Smith
INTERA is pleased to announce the promotions of three of the company’s staff members in Richland, Washington. Greg Ruskauff and Will Nichols were promoted to Vice Presidents responsible for leading INTERA’s newly re-structured operations that support work at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hanford Site. Kevin Smith has been promoted to the Lead for the company’s Software, Geospatial, and Data Services line of business. When asked about these promotions, INTERA’s President and CEO, Dr. Marsh Lavenue, said, “I look forward to Greg and Will’s leadership contributions and know they have the skills to further expand our work at Hanford and operations in the Northwestern U.S. Kevin brings the right mix of energy, expertise, and experience to excel at leading INTERA’s new Software, Geospatial, and Data Services line of business.
