INTERA’s Terry Tolan, RG, LHG, LEG, Senior Hydrogeologist, will be giving two presentations on Day 1 of the USGS/EPA Region 10 Fractured Rock Workshop, a two-day workshop that will take place on September 11-12, 2019 at the Region 10 Office in Seattle, WA. The Workshop will be presented as a webinar and is available to remote viewers via CLUIN. Day 1 of the course will provide an overview of groundwater flow and contaminated transport processes in fractured rock environments and day 2 will focus on remediation of groundwater contamination in fractured rock systems. Mr. Tolan’s first presentation entitled “Basalt and Other Hard-Rock Types in Region 10” will take place at 9:30 – 10:00 and his second presentation entitled “Overview of Fractured Rock Drilling Methods – Advantages, Disadvantages, and Anecdotes” will take place at 10:45 – 11:15. INTERA Ranked Top 200 Environmental Firm by Engineering News Record
For the fourth consecutive year, INTERA is included on the Engineering News Record’s (ENR) list of top 200 environmental firms, coming in at number 162. Firms are ranked based on the percent of their 2018 gross revenue from environmental market segments including, hazardous waste, nuclear waste, air, water, wastewater treatment, environmental management, and environmental sciences.
