Dr. Abhishek Singh Appointed to INTERA Board of Directors
INTERA’s leadership believes that corporate succession planning is part of being good stewards of our company. Over the last decade, INTERA has successfully transitioned management roles to those younger and ready to serve. The INTERA Board of Directors, the governing Board of INTERA, must also ensure Board member succession is carefully planned and executed. In support of this effort, the INTERA Board of Directors approved the appointment of Dr. Abhishek Singh, PE, to the Board, where he will serve as the Assistant Board Secretary under Van Kelley.
Dr. Singh has been with INTERA since 2007, when he began his career as an Environmental Scientist in the corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas. Since that time, he has successfully served in numerous technical and managerial roles, including opening INTERA’s first California office in 2015 in Torrance, outside of Los Angeles. Under Abhishek’s leadership, the Torrance office has established a strong reputation for providing water resources services that exceed our client’s expectations. Dr. Singh currently serves as the Vice President of INTERA’s Western Region and as a Principal Water Resources Engineer.

The CJI team brings extensive expertise related to engineering design, environmental planning, permitting, policy, and compliance. CJI also has proven expertise in air pollutant emission calculations, air quality modeling, and compliance and permitting, which will enable INTERA to provide air permitting services to its industrial, mining, and government clients.
The CJI team of 10 employees will establish a new environmental permitting group within INTERA’s Austin office and will be led by CJI President Jeff Glaser. “We’re excited about joining INTERA. We have enjoyed working with them over the years and this acquisition is a win for everyone involved. We value our client relationships and are happy that we will be able to enhance our service offerings to our long time and future clients,” Glaser said.
“CJI and INTERA have maintained a strategic alliance in Texas for many years, which leveraged the specific and distinct skill sets of our two firms.
