INTERA’s Terry Tolan, RG, LHG, LEG, Senior Hydrogeologist, will be giving two presentations on Day 1 of the USGS/EPA Region 10 Fractured Rock Workshop, a two-day workshop that will take place on September 11-12, 2019 at the Region 10 Office in Seattle, WA.  The Workshop will be presented as a webinar and is available to remote viewers via CLUIN. Day 1 of the course will provide an overview of groundwater flow and contaminated transport processes in fractured rock environments and day 2 will focus on remediation of groundwater contamination in fractured rock systems. Mr. Tolan’s first presentation entitled “Basalt and Other Hard-Rock Types in Region 10” will take place at 9:30 – 10:00 and his second presentation entitled “Overview of Fractured Rock Drilling Methods – Advantages, Disadvantages, and Anecdotes” will take place at 10:45 – 11:15.
