INTERA’s Dr. Jeremy White, Decision Support Science Director, will present at the inaugural SEG Global Online Workshop, “Improving Understanding and Treatment of Uncertainty in Groundwater Science and Management,” taking place on February 11, 18, and 25, 2025. This workshop will feature expert-led sessions on modeling, parameterization, and practical applications of uncertainty in hydrogeology and hydrogeophysics.

Dr. White’s talk, “Groundwater Modeling and Uncertainty Analysis: An Industry Perspective,” will take place on Tuesday, February 11th from 5:35 to 6:01 PM. The presentation will explore key trends in groundwater modeling, including the increasing adoption of uncertainty quantification and the growing role of scripting in environmental consulting. Drawing from over 20 years of experience, he will discuss both the benefits and challenges of these industry shifts and provide insights into where the field is headed.
