Nick brings more than 20 years of proven technical expertise as a hydrologist, integrated groundwater-surface water modeler, and software developer. Throughout his distinguished career, he has specialized in quantifying uncertainty and risk in water resource systems, developing innovative modeling approaches, and creating decision-support tools that improve data-driven decision-making for utilities and resource managers.
Before joining INTERA, Nick spent two decades leading complex water resource initiatives focused on advancing watershed simulation, data assimilation, and climate resiliency planning. His background includes demonstrated experience developing and applying advanced numerical modeling techniques, with specific focus on integrating physics-based models with machine learning and AI-based approaches. This unique intersection of traditional hydrology and advanced data science has allowed him to deliver innovative, science-based solutions that support complex water resources planning and management decisions nationwide.
For INTERA, Nick will leverage his expertise in hydrologic simulation and software development to provide cutting-edge modeling and decision-support tools for our clients.
