INTERA's Dr. Marsh Lavenue, Greg Ruskauff, PHg, and Tom Clemo will speak at the 2009 PEST Conference being held at the Bolger Center, Potomac, Maryland, November 2-4, 2009. The PEST Conference is bringing together scientists, engineers, and academicians who develop and apply numerical models to help solve a variety of environmental and related problems to learn more about the use of inverse modeling techniques focusing on the application of the Parameter Estimation by Sequential Testing (PEST). Dr. Marsh Lavenue will speak on the Impact of Conditioning a Regional Groundwater Inverse Model to Geologic and Hydrologic Site Characterization Data: A Look Back at a Decade of Inverse Modeling at the WIPP Site. Greg Ruskauff will speak on Estimating Fresh Water Lens Aquifer Parameters Using Automated Parameter Estimation and Axisymmetric Flow and Transport Modeling and Tom Clemo will speak on a yet to be determined topic involving a PEST application.
