Lakin Beal is a Hydrogeologist with experience focused in site investigation tasks including monitor well installation, sampling, and aquifer testing, and analytical tasks including groundwater modeling. Her drilling experience includes both horizontal and vertical drilling techniques utilizing rotary and core drill rigs. She has practical experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing field programs including dewatering well design and construction, installation of nested vibrating wire piezometer networks, feasibility studies, design of retention ponds for storm water management, and quarterly water management reporting. Through her graduate research, Lakin has experience conducting aquifer testing, groundwater table mapping, water quality testing, geochemical modeling, and field data collection and analysis. She applies her experience on projects involving the assessment of aqueous geochemical controls, urban impacts on surface water and groundwater quality, and groundwater flow patterns.
