Shannon George’s experience is focused on environmental compliance activities at state-regulated sites and the application of field techniques for collecting geologic and hydrogeologic data to characterize affected environmental media. Her experience includes project management; conducting soil and groundwater sampling, geotechnical soil logging, installing monitoring wells, operation and maintenance of remediation systems; and managing field investigations by providing coordination and oversight of subcontractors. Ms. George has conducted environmental site assessments and remedial investigations, and has authored numerous sampling and analysis, quality assurance, and site-specific health and safety plans for performing these environmental assessments and investigations at both closed and operational manufacturing facilities, municipal and hazardous waste landfills, mining sites, and transportation system facilities.
