Thomas Cavalera’s professional experience has focused on hydrogeology and water resources assessment. He has conducted numerous studies for the identification, quantification, and qualification of water resources. He has managed hydrogeological monitoring for environmental supervision, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable development studies. Thomas is proficient in the elements required for permitting applications and activities subject to “authorization” under the French classified installations regulations. He assisted in supervising water supply implementation projects at the municipal and regional level (geophysical investigation, specifications preparation, suppliers selection, pumping tests). Thomas has also managed research studies on coastal aquifer contamination through the development of metrology tools and hydrodynamic modeling. He has prepared publications and provided lectures on this research at international conferences. He is proficient in the application of a number of software programs and in Fortran programming.
