Wafa Batal has more than 20 years of experience in conducting site assessments, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial assessments and design, and removal and remedial actions in accordance with state and federal regulations including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. She is experienced with federal, state, and local permitting requirements, as well as human health and ecological risk assessment activities. Specializing in environmental information management and database development, she brings an in-depth understanding of users and requirements gathering, and has developed and managed Microsoft Access, SQL and Oracle databases. Wafa has served in project, program, risk and operations management roles on multimillion dollar projects, and has contributed to environmental and hazardous waste projects for private, local, state, and federal clients, including the U.S. Departments of Defense and Energy.
