Safe Harbor Support Center focuses on supporting vulnerable children and their families, particularly those that are healing from trauma, abuse, and neglect. Safe Harbor also owns and operates a shelter for homeless teenagers in the Tri-Cities area called My Friends’ Place. Meals on Wheels of Central Texas, whose volunteers, despite the pandemic, have been delivering up to two weeks’ worth of nutritious meals to homebound seniors. Navajo and Hopi Families COVID-19 Relief Fund. Routinely, these reservations experience great food scarcity with limited running water and electricity, and now there are not enough hospitals or beds to serve the several thousand cases of COVID-19 in the communities. Donations are being used to provide food, water and sanitation supplies to their most vulnerable, as well as provide home-sewn masks for medical personnel and first responders.
