George Westbury supports INTERA’s business functions through the development and management of the contractual interfaces with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. He has managed contracts and procurement functions in both project and corporate settings, including large projects within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) complex involving waste management (Savannah River Site Liquid Waste), deactivation and demolition (Office of Naval Reactor’s Separations Process Research Unit), international nuclear disarmament (Eurofab), and scientific research equipment (US ITER fusion energy project). George’s corporate experience includes managing various Tier 1 subcontracts and partnerships throughout the DOE complex as well as contracts with commercial clients and subcontractors for nuclear and energy related services. He has participated on large, complex proposal teams and has been a part of due diligence teams for acquisitions and corporate restructuring. George has also managed grants and cooperative agreements for non-profit organizations and began his career in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
