While his early career focused on developing technical and engineering solutions to environmental site investigation and remediation challenges, Kelly Hunter’s recent experience has been focused on business development roles. He has led business development strategies for nearly all primary scope offerings within the federal environmental cleanup market including: engineering design, fabrication, and testing on first-of-a-kind NQA-1 systems; decommissioning projects for nuclear reactor facilities (Plum Brook, Sturgis, NSS Savannah, Fermi Unit 1, SONGS, and various research reactors); large management and operations (M&O) contracts within the US Department of Energy (DOE) and the UK Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (West Valley, Hanford Plateau Remediation Contract, Idaho Core Contract, and Sellafield); and waste management services including packaging, transportation, treatment, and disposal services. Employing a teamwork approach, Kelly brings a proven ability to develop and execute winning strategies to provide customers with competitive “best value” solutions. Recognizing sales is a process, he is also very experienced in applying the consultative sales model and developing and executing business strategies for both large and small opportunities. He has served as capture manager for numerous large contracts totaling more than $60 billion in awards. As INTERA’s President of the Federal, International and Coastal Line of Business, Kelly leads operations and business strategy for Federal, International and Coastal opportunities. He also works closely with the company’s other lines of businesses to develop and execute technical solutions for our clients.
