Peter is the President of INTERA’s Mining and Environmental Business and is responsible for the performance and growth of the consulting services that we provide to our mining and environmental clients.

Since joining INTERA in 2007 as a hydrogeologist, Peter has served as a Group Manager, Director of Mining Business Development, Vice President of Mining and Water Resources, and Vice President of the Southwestern Region. Currently, Peter’s project portfolio includes the development of water-supply strategies for mineral processing and mining operations, dewatering approaches for underground mining operations, and predictive tools to evaluate the environmental impacts of proposed and former mining and milling operations.

In addition to his work at INTERA, Peter was appointed by the US Secretary of the Interior to the Northern New Mexico Resource Advisory Council, a group that advises the Bureau of Land Management’s leadership in carrying out their stewardship of public lands. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Caswell Silver Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that supports graduate education and research in geology at the University of New Mexico.
