The Meals on Wheels Central Texas Golf Benefit will take place on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Avery Ranch Golf Club.
The tournament will benefit Meals on Wheels Central Texas (MOWCTX) thanks to INTERA’s founder Ron Lantz, a generous and longtime supporter of the MOWCTX mission. Because of Ron’s passion to give back, he started his own golf tournament many years ago for his friends and co-workers at INTERA, to benefit charities in the community. INTERA is proud to continue to serve as a title sponsor for this event, which will help provide meals for hungry seniors in Central Texas.
Entry tickets are available for $150 at the Meals on Wheels event page. Registration is open from 11:30am to 1:00pm on April 8, and the tournament begins at 1:30pm, following lunch. Dinner and awards will take place at 6:00pm.

INTERA’s Daniel Lupton, PG, Senior Hydrogeologist, Matt Uliana, PhD, PG, Senior Hydrogeologist, and Pat Jurcek, PG, Senior Hydrogeologist, recently published an article in Infill Thinking entitled “A(n Underground) River Runs Through It.” The article discusses their work developing water supplies for frac sand mines in Texas and takes a deeper look into groundwater and the Permian frac sand boom. In addition, the technical analysis leverages INTERA’s quantitative modeling and aquifer characterization skills demonstrated in recent mine-related water resource projects in south and west Texas.
