INTERA’s European team will be attending the Interdisciplinary Research Symposium on the Safety of Nuclear Disposal Practices on 13-15th September 2023 in Berlin, Germany. The Symposium is organized by the German Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BASE). INTERA's Chao Li, Jean Croisé, Amélie Dausse, and Dominik Zbinden, are presenting a selection of work results related to the development of safe geological disposal of long-lived nuclear waste in collaboration with the national rad-waste agencies Nagra (Switzerland) and Andra (France). A summary of INTERA’s presentations is provided below.

Thursday, September 14

Session 10 – Geosciences Behind Regulatory, Technical and Social Challenges: Best Practices and Lessons Learned
