Air quality expert Joe Peré has been elected as the Chair of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA), Central Texas Chapter, for 2024. As INTERA's Technical Director of Air Quality, Mr. Peré brings extensive experience in air quality engineering and regulatory compliance. In his new role, he aims to foster collaboration among Central Texas environmental professionals, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and social engagement.

"The Air & Waste Management Association is a vital resource for environmental professionals to learn, network, and come together as those with much in common," said Joe Peré. "Every day, we all face many of the same challenges as they relate to environmental issues and having local resources for us to all come together is so very important."

Founded in 1907, A&WMA is a global nonprofit organization with over 5,000 environmental professional members across 65 countries. Joe Peré's leadership will guide the Central Texas Chapter in its mission to enhance professional development, critical decision-making, and networking opportunities for members. Under his direction, the chapter looks forward to advancing its goals and promoting environmental responsibility in the region.
