As INTERA’s Group Manager of Environmental Permitting, Jeff Glaser leads a team of environmental engineers and scientists in executing projects involving the design and permitting of waste management facilities; water quality discharge and land application (via evaporation and irrigation); permitting for domestic and industrial wastewater and storm water, including preparation of stormwater pollution prevention plans; closure of waste management facilities; site investigation, closure plan preparation and remediation; waste characterization and classification; preparation of air emissions inventories; preparation and certification of spill prevention, control, and countermeasure plans; multi-media compliance evaluations; environmental due diligence; and design and permitting of public water system infrastructure for industrial facilities. These projects are completed for a wide range of industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, cogeneration, coal fired power plants, wastewater treatment, oil and gas production and transportation, oil and gas waste recycling, commercial waste management, gasoline tank farm and retail marketing, food manufacturing, and financial institutions. Jeff's diverse experience enables him to assist in developing and implementing strategies to comply with the requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, and the Safe Drinking Water Act. He also leads environmental permitting due diligence projects for multi-million-dollar facility acquisitions, and has testified in federal and state court proceedings, enforcement matters, and contested case permit proceedings.
